Kochi is often referred to as the “Queen of the Arabian Sea.” Kochi is home to a large number of historically important sites, including as the Mattanchey Palace, the Paradesi Synagogue, the St. Francis Church, the Vasco House, and Princess Street, among others.
Each year, Fortkochi beach attracts tens of thousands of visitors. The gorgeous sunset view and traditional fishing using the distinctive Chinese fishing net are notable highlights of this location. It is an incredible experience to take a boat out on the backwaters of Vembanad Lake, which is located in the middle of Kochi. It is possible to have a very close look at both the port and the container terminal.
The backwater view from the rainbow bridge and the walk across the marine drive walkway are both refreshing. Bolgatty Palace is home to one of the oldest Dutch palaces. Mangalavanam Bird Sanctuary is a little forest located in the middle of city. Kochi is home to several museums, including the Hill Palace Museum, Kerala Folklore Museum, and Museum of Kerala History. The Broadway Market is a significant center for the purchase and sale of various spices.
